Abstract

spectroscopic characterization techniques coupled with theoretical calculations have been employed to understand the SEI formation mechanism. The results reported here rejuvenate the promise of PC as the primary electrolyte solvent for LIBs by artificially rectifying the interfacial electrochemical processes.
