Abstract
By 2025, Malaysia wants to incorporate 20% renewable energy into its overall energy mix. To achieve this, the country has created a variety of laws and programmes that support the expansion of renewable energy sources. The main policies will be examined and critiqued in this article. the National Renewable Energy Policy and Action Plan (NREPAP), the Feed-in Tariff (FiT) programme, Net Energy Metering (NEM), the Green Technology Financing Scheme (GTFS), and the Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA), are a few of the major policies being examined for their effects on the regional nations. The goal of Malaysia's renewable energy strategy is to lessen the nation's reliance on fossil fuels while promoting the growth of renewable energy sources.
