Abstract

<div>Demand side flexibility (DSF) is becoming an important tool for the power system operation. With air-conditioned buildings being key candidates for DSF, this paper presents a control-oriented thermal building modelling approach which is kept in the linear domain and therefore suited for the employment in convex optimization problems. Along with the building model, two DSF indicators are proposed and applied to assess the DSF potential for an office building in Singapore.</div>
