Abstract
Signal is the carrier of information, which is usually expressed in physical form. Signal processing is a general designation for signal detection, compression, filtering, transformation, spectrum analysis and other processing. Its purpose is to obtain useful information of the signal. This paper introduces Fourier transform and Butterworth filter. The experiments of removing high-frequency signals from ECG signals are also carried out to demonstrate the application of discrete Fourier transform and Butterworth filter in signal denoising.
