Crystal facet engineering of spinel NiCo <sub>2</sub> O <sub>4</sub> with enhanced activity and water resistance for tuneable catalytic methane oxidation

Abstract
We use crystal facet engineering to develop NiCo 2 O 4 hexagonal nanosheets with 2 different exposed crystal facets for complete CH 4 oxidation. The {111} exposed facet has better resistance to humidity while the {112} facet has better activity.
