Abstract
Saprophagous fauna like the oriental edible beetle ( P. brevitarsis ) plays a fundamental role in converting organic wastes into biofertilizer. Accumulating evidence has shown that soil fauna can reduce the abundance of ARGs, although the underlying mechanism of ARG reduction is still unclear.
