Abstract
Two polar organic–inorganic metal halides (C 20 H 20 P)CuX 2 (X = Cl, Br) feature rare quasi-linear [CuX 2 ] − units and exhibit phase-matchable SHG effects, and the structure–NLO properties relationship is investigated systematically.
