Abstract

To solve the issue of insufficient power supply reliability caused by the single power supply form in the low-voltage distribution area (LVDA) of power transformer, a multi-energy interactive power supply system (MIPSS) integrating the grid, new energy and energy storage is constructed by referring to the operating characteristics of unified power quality conditioner (UPQC). In addition to the power quality improvement function, the MIPSS can also realize the orderly control of different powers, and enhance the reliability, diversity and stability for electricity supply in the LVDA. First, based on the analyzed power flow operating principles, the operating modes of MIPSS are divided into three categories consisting of six forms, which can meet the high-reliability power supply demand for loads in various scenarios. Then, a multi-mode cooperative control strategy (MCCS) is proposed to realize the multi-mode operation and seamless transition, as well as the diversified energy management and interaction between the grid, new energy, energy storage and load are realized through the designed mode selection and reference generation (MSRG). Finally, the simulation results verify the operating performance of the constructed MIPSS and the effectiveness of the proposed MCCS.
