Abstract
utchinson-Gilford Progeria syndrome (HGPS) is an ultrarare systemic disorder that causes accelerated aging and premature death, often due to cardiovascular disease. 1,2 Because of its rarity, the characterization of cardiac abnormalities has been limited to cross-sectional assessment of small cohorts, and data on the progression of these abnormalities are lacking. s a follow-up to our previous cross-sectional report, we evaluated longitudinal changes in cardiac abnormalities in patients with HGPS.
