Abstract
This brief presents a bandstop filter using the Non-bianisotropic Complementary Split Ring Resonator (NBCSRR) and cylindrical metal vias, which exhibits electromagnetic bandgap behavior. A compact bandstop filter structure is achieved using NBCSRR sub-wavelength operation. The filter prototype is fabricated and tested, and the measured results agree well with the simulated results. The filter has higher bandstop rejection levels in the X band, which ranges from 8.8GHz to 9.3GHz.
