Abstract
By means of oxygen vacancies (OV) and spontaneous chemical redox approach, Au–BiOCl-OV with enhanced interfacial interaction is fabricated for <italic>in-situ</italic> reduction of CO<sub>2</sub> through simultaneously adsorption and activation on OV sites.
