Abstract

Methods of farming that have been practised for generations may be laborious, ineffective, and expensive. Autonomous robots are quickly becoming a game-changing technology in the agricultural sector as a means of addressing the difficulties described above. The objective of this project is to design and build autonomous robots that can be used for precision agricultural tasks such as planting, harvesting, and weeding crops. The proposed strategy entails the conception and construction of self-sufficient robots that are able to traverse and function in a wide variety of environmental settings and climatic conditions. These robots will have sensors and artificial intelligence algorithms built into them so that they can detect the requirements of various crops and react appropriately. In order to achieve optimal results in crop management, the robots will also have the capacity to interact with both human farmers and other robots. Moreover, the proposed autonomous robots will result in a considerable reduction in labour costs, an increase in agricultural yields, and the promotion of more environmentally responsible farming techniques. The primary objective of this research study is to both be at analyzing the cutting edge of technical innovation in agricultural settings and to make a contribution to resolve the challenges related to food security on a global scale.
