Monoterpenoid coumarins and monoterpenoid phenylpropanoids from the root bark of <i>Ailanthus altissima</i>

Abstract

Three new monoterpenoid coumarins, zantholin A (<bold>3</bold>), altissimacoumarin P-Q (<bold>5</bold>, <bold>6</bold>), two new monoterpenoid phenylpropanoids, altissmaphenylpropanoids A-B (<bold>2</bold>, <bold>4</bold>), along with two known compounds (<bold>7</bold>, <bold>8</bold>), were obtained from aqueous EtOH extracts of the root bark of <italic>Ailanthus altissima</italic>.
