Abstract

CEDM is a promising technique in the supplemental evaluation of patients with mammographically inconclusive findings and potentially in the screening of women with mammographically dense breasts. CEDM is emerging as a cost-effective alternative to dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI to stage newly diagnosed breast cancer and evaluate response to neoadjuvant chemotherapy.
