Abstract

Iron (Fe) promotes the surface reconstruction of NiPS 3 even at lower potential for the Ni x Fe 1− x PS 3 OER electrocatalyst. The surface reconstructed amorphous layers can efficiently act as real catalytic active sites for the OER.
