Abstract
-carbamoylpyrrole and indole derivatives with α,β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds such as crotonates proceeded with high enantioselectivity. The obtained chirally functionalized pyrroles and indoles are formal C-H conjugate adducts. The reaction mechanism was studied by deuterium labeling experiments.
