Abstract

insertion to obtain alkylsulfonyl radical species, which avoids the use of unstable alkyl sulfonyl chlorides and highly toxic sulfonyl hydrazides. Additionally, this method for the direct assembly of alkylsulfonated polycyclic molecule skeletons displays high chemical selectivity, broad substrate scope, and step-economy.
