Abstract

Peer-to-peer (P2P) energy sharing network formed by the direct interconnection of prosumers will be a future trend of the emerging prosumer era. The prosumer-oriented nature of P2P energy sharing network naturally drives the integration of cyber, physical and social layers. In this article, a cyber-physical-social system (CPSS) approach is proposed for P2P energy sharing of prosumers, and based on which many-to-many matching theory is proposed for prosumers with respect to their mutual preferences towards each other. First, a bipartite network is designed to present the relations between the seller set and buyer set, where the weights of the network’s edges are bilateral valued by the physical-social coupled preference utilities, which leverages both the physical and social layer knowledge to capture the prosumers preference in energy sharing. Then, the energy sharing problem is modelled as a two-stage optimization problem, where the first stage is to solve the problem of maximizing the total welfare of all participants with network constraints, and the second stage is to solve the efficient P2P energy sharing problem between prosumers by utilizing many-to-many matching theory. Furthermore, and a price-iterative-based Modified Deferred Acceptance (MDA) many-to-many algorithm is proposed to solve the problem. Finally, the simulation results verify the feasibility and performance of the proposed method.
