Abstract

Electric motor drives are a whole package consisting of a tube, an electric motor and a control system. As power facilities, relaxed lives and energy saving companies, the numbers of drives generated worldwide are increasing. Adjustable speed drives are state of the art 21st century technology. The main focus of this article is on electric drives in windmills. Yaw drive control and electric drive for implementing variable speed generator are mainly electric drives focused. For full conversion power, the Yaw control drive is used to operate the Yaw motor.
