Unbalance Vibration Suppression Control of PMa-BSynRM Based on Total Least Square Adaptive Filtering Algorithm

Abstract

To solve the vibration problem of a permanent-magnet-assisted bearingless synchronous reluctance motor (PMa-BSynRM) caused by rotor unbalance, an unbalance vibration suppression control (UVSC) based on improved total least square (TLS) algorithm is proposed in this article. First, the rotor vibration mechanism is analyzed. Second, a feed-forward closed-loop suppression control scheme based on TLS adaptive filtering algorithm is proposed. Considering that both input signal and output signal are affected by noise in the actual system, the TLS adaptive filtering algorithm is adopted, and the logarithmic function is used to improve its cost function, which further enhances the antidisturbance performance of the algorithm. Finally, the experimental platform of PMa-BSynRM is established, and the vibration suppression experiments are carried out under the conditions of constant velocity, rotor acceleration, and external disturbance. Test results show that the proposed control algorithm is effective in suppressing rotor vibration. The UVSC proposed in this article can realize the stable suspension operation of PMa-BSynRM with higher precision.
