Abstract

Red nanophosphors Gd<sub>2</sub>MoO<sub>6</sub>:Eu<sup>3+</sup> which were synthesized by the solvothermal method have a strong excitation band in NUV region and emits red light with high color purity by efficient energy transfer from MoO<sub>6</sub><sup>6−</sup> group to Eu<sup>3+</sup> ions.
