Abstract
A series of POM-based compounds can be used as amperometric detectors and the compounds based on [β-Mo<sub>8</sub>O<sub>26</sub>]<sup>4−</sup> can not only detect the cation Cr(<sc>vi</sc>), but also can photocatalytically reduce Cr(<sc>vi</sc>).
