Ball-milling and piezoelectric materials enabled radical trifluoromethylation of enamides and acrylamides

Abstract

A sustainable solid-state direct radical C(sp 2 )–H trifluoromethylation of enamide derivatives was developed by merging ball-milling with a stoichiometric amount of piezoelectric materials. Acrylamide were suitable substrates in this transformation.
