Approaching Quality 4.0: The Digital Process Management as a Competitive Advantage

Abstract
A new quality management strategy known as "Quality 4.0" makes use of Industry 4.0 technology, integration, and digitalization. While green business process management is recognized as a best practice management principle to support organizations in maintaining production efficiency from a process perspective to gain competitive advantage. The key ideas of green business process management are reviewed and examined in this study along with its impact on competitive advantage with a mediating role of quality 4.0. The quantitative nature of the study examines how Quality 4.0 is now perceived in various sources with an empirical evidence collected from food manufacturing industry Dubai UAE. 66 food manufacturing companies were targeted to gather data from managerial and production departments. 216 respondent’s data utilized for analysis. The study model was hypothesized that was measured using convergent validity, reliability, VIF and hypothesis testing to encounter the mediating effect of quality 4.0. The findings suggest a significant impact of green business process management on competitive advantage with mediating role of quality 4.0. As a result, the findings contribute to improve the knowledge of manufacturers, industrialists, and researchers concerned to explore GBPM and Quality 4.0. Moreover, implementing Quality 4.0 can provide several benefits that can help businesses gain a competitive advantage, including improved quality, increased efficiency, enhanced innovation, better decision-making, and a differentiated market position.
