A high-capacity self-sacrificial additive based on electroactive sodiated carbonyl groups for sodium-ion batteries

Abstract
A new type of high-capacity sacrificial additive (Na 4 C 6 O 6 ) is proposed to replenish the sodium loss in sodium ion full-cells. The CH//Na 3 V 2 (PO 4 ) 2 F 3 full-cells demonstrate significantly enhanced energy density after introducing an appropriate amount of additive.
