Self-assembly of octanuclear Ln(<scp>iii</scp>)-based clusters: their large magnetocaloric effects and highly efficient conversion of CO<sub>2</sub>

Abstract
A series of novel Ln 8 clusters show highly heterogeneous catalytic activity for catalyzing the cycloaddition of CO 2 with epoxides under mild conditions. Importantly, the Gd8 cluster exhibits a significant MCE with a larger Δ S m of 46.14 J kg −1 K −1 .
