Abstract
A general and highly efficient intramolecular dehydrative Friedel–Crafts reactions via Re 2 O 7 mediated hydroxyl group activation is described for the syntheses of tetrahydronaphthalene, tetrahydroquinoline, tetrahydroisoquinoline, chromane, and isochromane derivatives.
