Sheep and Goat Medicine
G. R. Duncanson
Abstract
This chapter covers medical problems in sheep and goats. They are often similar and so will be described together; however, where there are any differences, these are highlighted. The whole chapter is focused for use by the small animal practitioner who is faced with treating pet sheep and goats as well as these species kept on smallholdings. It does not cover very large commercial farms with either large sheep flocks or large goat herds.
