Abstract
A study is performed of the effect a weak pulsed magnetic field has on the surface state, emission, and magnetic properties of amorphous magnetic Fe(SiBNb) alloys. It is found that explosive electron emission can be initiated upon an increase in the intensity of the electric field, due to nanosized areas of oxides with higher resistivity on the surface of the metal.
