Abstract

Synthesis and properties of novel fluorinated cycloparaphenylenes (FCPPs), F 16 [8]CPP and F 12 [6]CPP, were reported. Furthermore, the derivatization of F 16 [8]CPP afforded a new carbon nanoring where sixteen pyrroles are densely substituted.
