Recent studies from the literature show more and more the interdependence between diet and intestinal microbiome and the health of the human body and the health of the intestinal microbiome. It has been shown so far that the intestinal microbiome is itself an “organ” that has its metabolic activity influencing the entire metabolism of the body host.
