Abstract

Bacterial cellulose from coconut water has been produced with acetobacter xylinum and supplemented Curcuma Longa Linn and Ziziphus Mauritiana extract. Characterization was carried out by Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) to identify functional group of the bacterial cellulose. This characteristic test was carried out on samples of bacterial cellulose, bacterial cellulose supplemented with Curcuma Longa Linn extract and bacterial cellulose supplemented with Ziziphus Mauritiana extract.
