Diagnosis and Treatment of Temporomandibular Disorders

Abstract
Temporomandibulr disorders(TMDs) is a comprehensive term that encompasses functional disorders affecting the masticatory system, including the temporomandibular joint and masticatory muscles. This term contains various diseases, and the presence of multiple etiologies makes the diagnosis and treatment of TMDs more complex. Therefore, this paper aims to explore the classification and diagnosis of TMDs, with a focus on the DC/TMD. Additionally, this paper investigated the definitive treatment and supportive therapy for TMDs.
