Abstract

Assembling point-of-care (POCT) sensors is a people topic in medical testing. In this work, a POCT electrochemical sensor was assembled for the rapid detection of prostate-specific antigen (PSA). Screen-printed electrodes were used as a base for the sensor due to their cheap cost. PEDOT and ds-DNA were used to increase the deposition of Ag nanoparticles (NPs). The immunosensor with sandwich structure was assembled on AgNPs/ds-DNA/PEDOT to achieve highly sensitive detection of PSA·H2O2 was used as a probe to reflect the PSA concentration. Under optimal conditions, the assembled immunosensor can detect PSA between 0.1 pg/mL and 100 ng/mL. The detection limit can reach 17 fg/mL.
