Abstract

This paper presents a Smart Trolley with an Automatic Billing System using RFID technology to enhance the retail shopping experience. The focus is on automating the checkout process, reducing wait times, and improving efficiency. Objectives include designing the Smart Trolley, implementing the Automatic Billing System, and assessing the impact on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. The research reviews RFID technology applications in retail, emphasizing inventory management, supply chain optimization, and customer engagement. Existing brilliant shopping basket frameworks are inspected to recognize holes tended to by the proposed framework. The framework engineering includes RFID peruses, microcontrollers, and sensors. RFID innovation standards and advantages, like continuous following, are examined. The Programmed Charging Framework’s engineering and coordination with the streetcar’s RFID innovation are itemized. Implementation covers Smart Trolley design, RFID integration, and a guide on linking it to the Automatic Billing System. Results from field tests and customer feedback evaluate checkout times, accuracy, and the overall shopping experience. Challenges during implementation are discussed with proposed solutions. Future research directions and system enhancements are explored. In conclusion, the paper summarizes key findings, highlighting the significance of the Smart Trolley with Automatic Billing System in revolutionizing retail. Relevant literature and studies are cited in the references, informing the research and system development.
