Abstract
A sustainable strategy for synthesizing ISB-based polycarbonate (PIC) with adjustable molecular weight has been developed, utilizing the CO 2 -based compound dimethyl carbonate (DMC) as a monomer and ionic liquids (ILs) as metal-free catalysts.
