Abstract

A novel palladium/copper-cocatalyzed tandem cyclization of o -alkenyl arylisocyanides and sulfur ylides with alcohols has been developed, providing a simple and efficient method for the synthesis of spiro 3,3′-cyclopropyl oxindoles in a single step.
