Technological advancements in the use of ionic liquid- membrane systems for CO2 capture from biogas/flue gas - A review

Abstract

Ionic liquid and membrane systems were considered as integral parts of a hybrid system. Prominent membrane and ionic liquids were considered based on their CO 2 capture efficiencies . A membrane-ionic liquid-graphene oxide system was proposed for capturing CO 2 from flue gas. CO 2 capture efficiencies >80% were recorded for the membrane-ionic liquid-graphene oxided system.
