Four new Cu<sub>6</sub>S<sub>6</sub> cluster-based coordination compounds: synthesis, crystal structures and fluorescence properties

Abstract
For the first time, the Cu<sub>6</sub>S<sub>6</sub> clusters are connected to 1D inorganic CuCN (or CuSCN) chains through mercaptopyrimidine derivatives and obtain the extended arrays, providing a new strategy to construct the Cu<sub>6</sub>S<sub>6</sub> cluster-based coordination compounds.
