A bstract The $$ {\varXi}_{cc}^{++}\to {\varXi}_c^{\prime +}{\pi}^{+} $$ <mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"> <mml:msubsup> <mml:mi>Ξ</mml:mi> <mml:mi>cc</mml:mi> <mml:mrow> <mml:mo>+</mml:mo> <mml:mo>+</mml:mo> </mml:mrow> </mml:msubsup> <mml:mo>→</mml:mo> <mml:msubsup> <mml:mi>Ξ</mml:mi> <mml:mi>c</mml:mi> <mml:mrow> <mml:mo>′</mml:mo> <mml:mo>+</mml:mo> </mml:mrow> </mml:msubsup> <mml:msup> <mml:mi>π</mml:mi> <mml:mo>+</mml:mo> </mml:msup> </mml:math> decay is observed using proton-proton collisions collected by the LHCb experiment at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5 . 4 fb − 1.
