Abstract

As a result of the exponential development of many sectors, the Internet of Things has presented fascinating new opportunities for enhancing the quality of human life. The Internet of Things (IoT) enables secure vehicle-to-vehicle communication via the Vehicular Ad-hoc Network (VANET), which boosts both traffic safety and manage efficiency. Vehicle access control authentication plays a critical role in ensuring the security of communications inside a VANET and between a vehicle and infrastructure. Resolving security and privacy concerns is crucial for reliable communication in Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks (VANETs). In this research study, Sc-authentication a secure Certificate-less Aggregate Signature based Authentication System that is both efficient and secure. In order to boost security, privacy, and efficacy, a combination of Dynamic Time Warping (DTW) conditional privacy-preserving authentication and Short Group Signature (SGS) is employed. By offering conditional privacy and decreasing computational, communication, and storage overhead, the proposed system allows secure and efficient communication. The suggested method is optimal for VANETs since it outperforms competing approaches with respect to communication and computation costs, as measured by the performance evaluation. The proposed strategy can safeguard VANETs from the threats posed by hostile vehicles. Moreover, unlike current encryption methods, our approach does not need the time-consuming pairing process. As a consequence, the suggested method significantly cuts computational costs. Our approach is safer and more efficient than conventional systems, according to security and performance evaluations.
