Abstract

) were obtained directly from the IL- and DES-pretreated woods. The treated woods, when used as raw materials for cationization reaction, allow to synthesize water-soluble polyelectrolytes with potential to be applied in wastewater treatment, pharmaceutical or cosmetic products.
