Abstract

contrast agents; they clearly outperformed the clinically used Gadovist. Taken together, our interdisciplinary work provides robust evidence for the nontoxicity of Ln-UCNPs. This sets the stage for the translation of Ln-UCNP for use in complex biological systems.
