Abstract

An ultraviolet transparent nonlinear optical material Rb<sub>3</sub>In(SO<sub>4</sub>)<sub>3</sub>, which possesses a moderate SHG response and a large band gap, has been rationally designed through a defluorinated aliovalent substitution strategy.
