Brief review on Egypt’s renewable energy current status and future vision

Abstract

Renewable energy is critical for attaining long-term development. The Egyptian government, in collaboration with the business sector, is making significant strides toward the expansion of renewable energy production. This research includes a review of these initiatives, as well as information on renewable energy projects in Egypt and their share of the overall output. Finally, through the discussion of each project, a comprehensive overview of the technologies now in use in Egypt is presented.
