Abstract

The exsolved LaNiO 3 perovskite catalyst exhibits superior performance compared to supported Ni/La 2 O 3 attributed to the critical La–Ni arrangement differences, including Ni encapsulation and lanthana's affinity for hydroxide/carbonate formation.
