Abstract

A hyper-cross-linked polymer bearing functional ligand-supported iridium complex Cp*Ir@HCPs-(2-OH-4-phenylpyridine) was prepared by the coordinative immobilization of [Cp*IrCl 2 ] on HCPs-(2-OH-4-phenylpyridine). In the presence of a catalyst (0.5 mol % Ir) and KOH (0.3 equiv), a series of N-trideuteromethylated amines were synthesized via the N-trideuteromethyaltion of amines with CD 3 OD. More imporantly, the catalyst could be recycled without obvious loss of activity during six cycles.
