Metal‐Based Aerogels Catalysts for Electrocatalytic CO<sub>2</sub> Reduction

Abstract
Abstract General strategies for metal aerogel synthesis, including single‐metal, transition‐metal doped, multi‐metal‐doped, and nano‐metal‐doped carbon aerogel are described. In addition, the latest applications of several of the above‐mentioned metal aerogels in electrocatalytic CO 2 reduction are discussed. Finally, considering the possibility of future applications of electrocatalytic CO 2 reduction technology, a vision for industrialization and directions that can be optimized are proposed.
