Role of molecular symmetry in the magnetic relaxation dynamics of five-coordinate Dy(<scp>iii</scp>) complexes

Abstract
A series of five-coordinate mononuclear Dy III SMMs [(Trapen TMS )Dy(L B )] (L B = THF 1, pyridine 2, ONMe 3 3) have been successfully constructed. The results indicated that the magnetic property for 1 –3 are differences (in a sequence of 1> 3 > 2).
