Abstract

Both 5-km and 10-km transmission was demonstrated under 225-Gb/s PAM4 operation using EA-DFB lasers. We confirmed low TDECQ values of 2.0~3.2 dB for 5 km in the CWDM range and 10 km at 1293.5 nm.
